St-Romain

Situated at higher altitude than the other villages and tucked away behind the main line of the Côte d’Or, St-Romain produces fresh medium-bodied whites usually best drunk in their youth and slightly angular reds. There are no 1ers crus at this stage, though the subject is under discussion.
