Monthelie

Located behind Volnay and Meursault, a red Monthelie is similar to a mini-Volnay but a little bit more rustic, mostly for drinking in the first ten years. Expect a little more flesh on the bones than from neighbouring Auxey-Duresses. Whites are rarely interesting except in youth.
