Domaine de la Commaraine (Pommard):
The Domaine has recently purchased some vineyards in the Côte de Nuits to add to their Monopole of the Clos de la Commaraine in Pommard. About half the new vineyards will stay with the vigneron who is currently farming them, but the Domaine will take into its own hands the following:
- Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru, Aux Bousselots : 28 ares 32 ca
- Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru, Roncières : 50 ares 45 ca
- Nuits-Saint-Georges : 29 ares 89 ca
- Chambolle-Musigny : 15 ares 23 ca.
Domaine Pierre Amiot (Morey-St-Denis):
From the 2020 vintage the domaine has been split between Pierre Amiot’s two sons who have been running the domaine together for many years. Didier is setting up under his own name while Jean-Louis continues as Domaine Amiot & Fils, aided by his son Leon.
Domaine du Cellier aux Moines (Givry):
Since (but not because of) my recent report on the Côte Chalonnaise, winemaker/general manager Guillaume Marko, whose wines thoroughly impressed me, has been promoted to co-gérant (co-director) of the business.
