Domaine Vaudon-Drouhin, Joseph
Updated Sep 2022
Robert Drouhin intelligently bought significant vineyard holdings in Chablis in the 1960s, before the region had regained momentum. The Drouhin property in Chablis was previously known as the Domaine de Vaudon, based at the Moulin de Vaudon in Chichée, where the grapes are pressed. Currently the juice is sent down to Beaune for vinification, though I understand that land has been bought for the possible future construction of a dedicated winery on the outskirts of Chablis.
