Christophe Drag, who is the son-in-law of the eponymous Jean Chauvenet, makes a fine range of well-coloured, fruit-driven Nuits-St-Georges premiers crus here, which reflect their terroirs. Les Vaucrains usually stands out, but all the wines from this domaine show the individual characters of their vineyards, from rounded Bousselots to pure, intense, mineral Vaucrains.
