I don’t think I have had a wine from Jean-Marie Fourrier’s grandfather before. This wine showed great promise from the first sight of its beautiful clear pale brick red colour. The nose was on the less ripe side but very stylish nonetheless. One or two biscuit notes indicate the wine’s age and it is not hugely concentrated: but this is certainly fine and pure, with a delicate red fruit backed by good acidity. I really enjoyed this wine for its class and elegance.
