When the Bichot family bought the business from the Comtesse de Lupé, they took over the delightful buildings on the edge of Nuits-St-Georges to turn into the Côte de Nuits vinification centre for Maison Albert Bichot. Certain key vineyards such as Château Gris continue under the Lupé-Cholet marque, which it owns but which is run separately from the Bichot business.
