Three brothers: Etienne, Jean and Bernard the youngest. Etienne’s part of the domaine went to his son Daniel-Etienne, followed in turn by the next generation in the form of Paul-Etienne. Jean, still active at 90, had a daughter Dominique who married Daniel Dampt, their domaine now in the hands of sons Vincent and Sébastien, who also have their own labels. The youngest brother, Bernard, is the father of Didier and Sylvain who run Domaine Bernard Defaix, with Sylvain’s son Adrien now joining the business.
